Money-Saving Bargains for ‘HEB’...

If you’re an H-E-B shopper, heads up!  Now through April 12th, H-E-B is running a great promotion whenever you buy 10 participating General Mills products, you’ll get back a $5 Catalina coupon and 5 FREE Music Download codes!  If you’re not sure what a Catalina coupon is, it’s a check-out coupon that prints out at the register after you pay (most often when you buy certain products) that is good on your next transaction. It is treated almost like cash (but you cannot get cash back) to be used on your next purchase!

AND, if you’ve been following  my blog for a while, you may have remembered the previous Box Tops for Education promotion that H-E-B ran as well, and the best part was it worked for some items that were NOT on the participating products list.  Previously, we were able to purchase the little pouches of Bisquick Pancake mix priced around $.71 each (at my store) and I’ve heard that the Catalina is printing for those pouches again!  If so, here’s a potential deal you can do…

  • Buy 10 Bisquick Pouches, $.71 each
    • Pay $7.10, but get back a $5 Catalina coupon and 5 FREE Music Downloads
    • Final Cost = $.21 each after Catalina!

If you “roll” the deal and use the Catalina coupon to pay for the following Bisquick transactions, you’ll have a money maker!  Let us know if you come up with any great scenarios!  Also, you may want to head on over to Coupons.com to print some of the Chex, Kix, and Cinnamon Burst Cheerios coupons to take with you!

(Thanks, Katy Couponers!)

Wow!  There’s a great new $.50/1 Stove Top Stuffing coupon available on Coupons.com!  Hurry on over HERE and use the zip code 53027 and sort by “Foods” to print this new coupon!  I’m not sure how much these are at Randall’s, but this coupon should make for a great deal if your store doubles!  And, starting 3/27, CVS will have the 6 oz. boxes of Stove Top Stuffing on sale for only $.77, so only $.27 each after this new coupon!  Awesome!

On a side note, I was able to find Buy 4 get 1 FREE tearpad coupons a while back at H-E-B that will make this deal even sweeter!  Also, it looks like you can head on over to the Stove Top Facebook page to print another $.50/1 Stove Top coupon!

I also ran into my H-E-B Plus! tonight to use some of the expiring coupons from the Safeway Joy of Football booklet and found a few good deals!  And kudos to my poor friend Jennifer who I ran into at the store and decided to get in line behind me (big mistake!) as a few of my coupons wouldn’t go through and had to be entered in! ;-)   Sorry Jennifer!  Anyways, here’s what I scored…

  • 4 Maggi Clear Soup packets, $.44 each
    • Used the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE coupon that came with the home mailer sample I posted about HERE

AND, while browsing through the Travel Section, I came across this rebate form…spend $35 on P&G products in one transaction (must be made at H-E-B), get a $10 Visa Prepaid card by mail!  If you’re a regular H-E-B shopper, this shouldn’t be too hard!  Purchases must be made between 2/27 and y 3/8 and postmarked by 3/15.  If you have the FREE Puffs when you buy ANY Vicks product coupons from the 2/27 P&G insert, and the $3/1 Gain coupons, as well as all those high value coupons in the P&G Everyday Savings booklet, you can really come up with a great deal!  Let me know if you do this deal and what you come up with! (Thanks, Katy Couponers!)

I also spotted that they had a wall of toys on 50% off Clearance and a few of them seemed like great deals!  They had this VTech 3-in-1 Learning Zebra Scooter priced at only $22.49 (reg. $45!)…it sells for $33.97 on Amazon!  I also saw this Thomas & Friends Zip, Zoom & Logging Adventure Set priced at only $34.99 (reg. $69.98!)…it sells for $49.99 on Amazon!  There were all sorts of other toys and games marked down by 50% off, so if you’re in need of a few birthday gifts, you may want to check your local H-E-B!  Keep in mind that Clearance markdowns may vary by store, so you may want to call ahead before heading over there!
