If you are new to couponing or just don’t have a lot of time to do all the deals at CVS or Walgreens this week (or don’t have any Walgreens Register Rewards to use like me…it’s kinda nice!) then you may be interested in snagging these easy deals below!  I snagged 15 items today at CVS and Walgreens and paid only $.61 out of pocket for all of them!  Here’s how…

Walgreens –

  • 4 Colgate Total Toothpastes, $1.99 – Be sure to keep an eye out for the 20% more (7.2 oz) boxes for the same price (pictured above)!
    • Used (4) $1/1 Colgate Total mfg. coupons in the new Diabetes and You booklets found by the Pharmacy
    • Used (1) $1/1 Colgate Total Walgreens coupon in the new Diabetes and You booklet (front booklet) – deducted $4
    • Final Cost = FREE + $.04 overage!
  • 1 Ecotrin, $1.99 with in-ad coupon
    • Used (1) $2/1 Ecotrin coupon from the 10/10 RP insert
    • Handed over in-ad coupon last (to avoid beeps and allow overage!)
    • Final Cost = FREE + $.01 overage!
  • 3 Rolls of Scotch Tape, $.49 with in-ad coupon
    • Used the $1/3 Scotch Tape coupon from the 8/8 SS insert
    • Final Cost = $.47 for all 3!

Final Cost = Paid $.46 out of pocket for everything above and have NO Register Rewards to worry about! Smiley

CVS -

  • 2 Sierra Mist Naturals 2-Liters, $.99
  • 1 Oral-B Vitality Toothbrush, $23.00 = $13 ECB
    • Used (1) $10/1 Oral-B Vitality coupon from the 11/14 RP insert
    • Paid $13, but got back $13 ECB
    • Final Cost = FREE after ECB!
  • 3 L’Oreal Endless Lipwear, on 75% off clearance for $2.82
  • 1 L’Oreal True Minerals Powder, on 75% off clearance for $3.69
    • Used (4) $2/1 L’Oreal Cosmetic coupons (there are also $5/2 L’Oreal coupons in the 11/14 RP insert, but our region didn’t get that coupon)
    • And used an expired $3 off $15 Cosmetic purchase CVS coupon (our CVS takes expired store coupons)
    • Final Cost = $1.15 for all 4 items!

Final Cost = Paid $.15 out of pocket after using $14 in ECB’s, but got back $13 ECB’s from the Oral-B toothbrush!  If you don’t have the Safeway booklet or any ECB’s to use, you can still get a *HOT* deal on the L’Oreal products!

Overall, I only spent $.61 total for all 15 items at both stores!  Awesome!

Look what I received in the mail today!?  I received my third “Big Fat Check” from Ebates since signing up one year ago!  If you’re unfamiliar with Ebates, it’s a FREE cash back site (similar to ShopatHome), that offers cash back for the convenience of shopping online, to popular stores like Wal-mart, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Home Depot, Ebay, and more!  As you may know, I often refer to Ebates and ShopatHome in my daily posts, so I thought I’d explain a little about how they work…

Ebates -

  1. First, it’s important to go HERE and sign up or create an account with Ebates.  Plus, if you don’t already have an account, you’ll receive a FREE $5 bonus just for signing up when you make your first purchase!
  2. Anytime you’re wanting to make an online purchase, be sure to log into your account to see if the store you’re wanting to purchase through is partnered with Ebates.  You can find out by simply typing the name of the store in their search box.
  3. If the store is partnered with Ebates, you’ll find a certain percentage given for shopping through that link, which will be credited to your Ebates account within a few days of purchase!  It’s very important to shop through the pop-up link that shows up after clicking “Shop Now” on Ebates as it contains your unique tracking link, which is needed to credit your account with the cash back!
  4. Once your account reaches $5.01 (not including the sign-up bonus), you’ll receive your first check in the mail!  Checks are sent out every 3 months!  Often times, Ebates or ShopatHome offer different cash back amounts for different sites, so it’s beneficial to have an account set up with each site!

ShopAtHome -
  1. Fist, go HERE and sign up or create an account with ShopatHome. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll receive a FREE $5 bonus just for signing up as long as you make a purchase within 30 days of signing up!
  2. Anytime you’re wanting to make an online purchase, be sure to log into your ShopatHome account to see if the store you’re wanting to purchase through is partnered with them. You can find out by simply typing the name of the store in their search box.
  3. If the store is partnered with ShopatHome, you’ll find a certain percentage given for shopping through that link, which will be credited to your ShopatHome account within a few days of purchase!  It’s very important to shop through the pop-up link that shows up after clicking “Shop Now” on ShopatHome as it contains your unique tracking link, which is needed to credit your account with the cash back!
  4. Once your account reaches $20 total (including the sign-up bonus!), you’ll receive your first check in the mail!  Checks are sent out every 3 months as long as you’ve reached your initial $20 amount…if you haven’t yet, the amount in your accout will continue to “roll over” until you’ve reached the $20 payout amount!  Afterwards, you’ll start receiving checks on a regular basis.

**Keep in mind that, often times, Ebates or ShopatHome offer different cash back amounts for different sites, so it’s beneficial to have an account set up with each site!

Happy Online Fishing! Smiley
