I ran into CVS this afternoon to scan my card to see if it would print the “magical” coupon for ”Save $3 on any “As Seen on TV” product” that I posted earlier today…and luckily it did!
I went through the entire store and searched for items that were $3 or less, so they would be FREE after coupon. However, I noticed that all of the “As Seen on TV” items left on the shelves at my store were tagged at $3.99 or higher so I decided to price scan them to make sure. Everything was correctly priced, EXCEPT this lovely Thera Pen Massager Pen (tagged at $9.99) for only $2.49! SO I walked out of the store with a FREE “As Seen on TV” Massaging Pen (price was adjusted down and zeroed out)!
Let me tell you…I can’t wait to massage my temples and palms when I’m stressed out some day! Hopefully I won’t draw on myself while doing so! Actually, I’m thinking this would make a great White Elephant gift for Christmas time…watch out!
I’d heard recently that the Save $2 (or $4) on any 3 (or 6) Trident, Dentyne or Stride gum 3-pack bags, OR on any 3 bottles of Dentyne or Trident gum, OR on any 3 bags of Swedish Fish, Sour Patch (8 oz. or larger), or Halls coupons from the 8/8 SS insert worked on the single packs (18 ct.) of Trident gum this week at Walgreens. They are on sale for only $.50 each this week with the in-store Walgreens coupon in the September coupon booklet (found at the front of the store). I was a little hesitant to see if the Trident mfg. coupon would work on the single packs of Trident gum because of the wording on the coupon, but I thought I’d try it and see if it works.
As I was checking out, I asked the cashier about the coupon and she said that if the coupon scans, then they’ll take it! AND, I was so happy that the coupons worked without beeping! I’m guessing these coupons DO include the single packs of Trident gum (it’s all about the commas in the wording!)!? As you know, normally coupons at Walgreens are VERY picky and beep for just about everything (it seems) so I figured if the coupons beeped, I would just pass on the gum. But they went through with NO beeps! Yay! If you do buy the gum, I’d recommend buying 1 or 2 extra packs than what your mfg. coupons state just to cover the overage…just in case!

Total Cost = $.07 Out of Pocket (after tax) after using a $10 RR and got back $8 in RR’s! Yay!
Have you noticed the $1/1 ANY Ball or Kerr Canning Item coupon on Red Plum? If not, you’ll definitely want to print this coupon before it’s gone! This coupon should allow us to get cheap or possibly FREE canning jars or lids at Wal-mart and other stores (anyone know the current price?)! There’s also a coupon for $1/1 Case of Ball or Kerr Canning Jars, which would come in handy if you’re planning to make home-made jelly, pumpkin butter, or even recipe gift jars for teachers, friends, or neighbors!
These jars always come in handy for making gifts…you can put soup mixes, cookie ingredients, hot cocoa mixes, or other recipes inside…just add all the ingredients, use fabric to cover the lid, tie it with a bow, attach a recipe card for what’s inside, and VOILA…you have a great affordable gift!
